The Mozambican writer, Lucílio Manjate, is a candidate for Secretary-General of the Association of Mozambican Writers (AEMO), whose election should take place this semester, during the General Assembly, according to the newspaper Notícias, this Tuesday, 19 of January. 

Notícias also writes that Lucílio Manjate will have as opponent the writer and current Secretary General, Carlos Paradona, who recently told “Notícias” that he is available for a second term. 

The same source says that Lucílio Manjate prefers to present the lines of his electoral manifesto at the opportune moment, this on the eve of the internal elections.

He holds a degree in Linguistics and Literature from Universidade Eduardo Mondlane.
